Sermon title:: You Have To Endure Your Father's Discipline looking to Jesus

Scripture: Hebrews 12:5-12, 12:7-9, Matthew 7:11, Proverbs 3:11, 19:18

We thank God for another beautiful day...it wasn't easy for us. But we made it. He deserve it. Thank you oh Lord God Almighty Allah. Selah.

When we talk about discipline; Discipline is the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience. It can also refer to self-control and the ability to make oneself do what needs to be done, even when it is difficult or unpleasant.

Discipline is often used to ensure order, structure, and accountability in various aspects of life, such as school, work, relationships, and personal development.

And according to the Bible
In the Bible, discipline is often associated with correction, instruction, and training in a moral or spiritual sense. It is seen as a form of love and guidance from God to help individuals grow and mature in their faith and character.

The book of Proverbs 13:24 states, "Whoever spares the rod hates their children, but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them." This verse emphasizes the importance of discipline in raising children to become responsible and righteous adults. Additionally, Hebrews 12:11 explains that discipline may be painful in the moment, but it yields a peaceful and righteous harvest of righteousness for those who have been trained by it. Overall, discipline in the Bible is meant to lead individuals towards a life of holiness, obedience and spiritual growth.
So try and endure your father's discipline looking to Jesus.

May the Lord continue to bless you as you keep on loving others and meditating on the words of the Lord God Almighty. Amen.
